Macbeth is an equivocator in Act 1 Scene 7.
The quote that proves this, is ” I have no spur to prick the sides of my intent, but only vaulting ambition which o’erleaps itself and falls on th’other”
This quote from Macbeth is a section of his soliloquy and he’s saying that he has no motivation or no reason to do this deed (“I have no spur to prick the sides of my intent”). The only motivation he says he has is his “vaulting ambition” to be king. He really wants to be king, its his desire but in his way is a good man that he does not want to kill. He wants to be king, but he doesnt want to murder Duncan. This is showing clear equivocation in Macbeth.
