Mr. Jones – The Tsar of Russia: Czar Nicholas II. Mr. Jones is represented as being too drunk at the beginning of the book, this relates to Czar Nicholas as he was entitled to endless amounts of gold and jewellery purely on the basis of blood relation.

Napoleon – Joseph Stalin. Napoleon and Stalin were both dictators and have similar personality’s, they both had opposing rivals that they wanted to kill.

Snowball – Leo Trotsky. Leo Trotsky was exiled from Russia and so was Snowball. They both led their revolutions and did it for the peoples/comrades benefits, not for themselves.

Old Major – Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin. Old Major’s personality was similar to Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin as they were all dreamers, tired of man’s greedy bullying. Karl Marx and Old Major both were highly respected and they both managed to express their ideas.
